About
What I am is what I am. I write about what I’m doing, what I like, and what my children are doing. Yes, I have six children, two boys and four girls. 24 years to 3 & 1/2 years.
I’m not into politics.
I don’t want to be the flag bearer for any cause or any reason that would drive me to think it was important enough to make a homemade sign and pace back and forth in front of some public facility- that, or parade on the Mall in D.C.
I had cancer, but my case is individual and relatively private, so I don’t dwell on it, nor do I want to.
I exercise – bike, swim and occasionally lift weights. I like the statistical analysis of my exercising. I like the physical/emotional/spiritual aspects too. No one else will probably care, but I do.
I’m an Anglophile. I think England is cool. I especially like the Anglo-Saxon period, after the Romans left (410,) and before that bastard William crossed the channel (1066.)
I like Oklahoma football. My Dad is proud of being from Oklahoma and he loves the Sooners. I am greatly influenced by my father.
I like music – classical, opera, jazz, blues, flamenco, rock, rockabilly, bluegrass, reggae, jam bands, guitars, lutes, bagpipes, horn sections, drummers, violins, violas, cellos, fiddles, squeeze boxes, harmonicas, washboards, jugs, and spoons.
I have six children. The possibilities for discussion they provide are endless.
I’m opinionated, cantankerous, or otherwise argumentative.
I’m not the “biggest fan” of anyone or anything. I just intensely like a lot of different things.
And so what I want to blog about is what I like and what I don’t like, and what I’m doing and what I want to do. That’s about it.
